Writing a review is part of a blogger’s job. People who blog often have access to new products, events, or services early and can get the word out about what works or does not. It is important to choose a service/event/product that your readers should know about and be honest about how it works. For this blog, you will do just that. Your review should include:
- A title
- A descriptive summary paragraph
- An evaluation of Pros
- An evaluation of Cons
- A review
- A call to action
I speak of a product that is a classic, but a good one.
ReplyDelete"Little house in the big woods" Is a book of the old past. People who read it will find out more about the daily lives of the Wisconsin folk who lived in the time of horse-drawn carriages, and the civil war. The reader will have a herd time putting the book down with all its amazing little details and the descriptions of the scenes, It will make you feel like you're actually there! All described through the narrations of a little girl!
It is very worth buying, because of its great detail which makes it so you can smell the food and hear the sounds, feel what the characters are feeling, and one chapter actually makes you feel like dancing!
Only the parts where Laura; the main character gets in trouble, or members of her family gets in trouble. Other wise, this book is very uplifting and talks of old time history, with little stories within stories!
You can find it at the library or your local bookstore.
I like how you describe how the book makes you feel, and that it makes it feel like you're actually a part of the book. Its cool how you are impacted from the book. It makes it seem like you really like reading. I think you could add a few more quotes or thinks that actually happen in the story, using textual evidence.

DeleteThe last line of your post where you say where to get the book was a good touch and clearly lets the reader know. The ! marks make it much more enthusiastic and enjoyable to read. Maybe add a few more things about the book that you don't like. Weither it be the style of writing to the minor details. That way whoever is reading your post really can have a good understanding if they should read this book or not.

DeleteI am reviewing Burton snowboards. I decided to pick a well known brand snowboard to review and to talk to you about. Burton snowboards are well made and they don’t break easily. The snowboards are used to snowboard down a hill and to do tricks on the board. I have a Burton snowboard and have had it for at least 3 years and it is still in perfect condition.

You can go to any snowboarding shop and find a Burton snowboard because it is a well known brand and all stores carry their boards. Another pro is they offer new color designs and sizes that everyone enjoys. It is nice to have all different sizes that are easy to find in the stores.
Some cons of the Burton snowboard is the boards are expensive boards because they are made so well. People might not want to buy an expensive board but it’s worth the money because it will last a long time. Another con would be people might not like the way it feels. Every brand makes their boards differently and some people might not like how it fits them on the hill.
I think the Burton snowboard is worth getting. There are so many more pros then there are cons. It is such a well known brand and the majority of the people that buy snowboards by Burton. They are a reliable company to trust and they everyone that has bought a board from them said they have lasted a long time.
If you're interested in buying a Burton snowboard you can research online what size you need and what colors you like. There are many snowboarding companies in the area that you can visit and try them out to see if you like it. If you are not interested in the Burton board you can always research online and find other boards that fit your style that you like.
I feel like you did a good job explaining the pros and cons and I feel you had a good balance of them. I think you should have added the cost of the board to the cons list because someone who doesnt know a lot might not know the difference between a good expensive board and a not good expensive board. Otherwise I found your review interesting and informational

ReplyDeleteThe hand turkey is a longtime favorite craft. This craft as to be one of the simplest and fun filled craft. Its great for young kids and perfect for right around thanksgiving. The hand turkey is made of out construction paper and is simply made out of the tracing of your hand. This craft also requires little supplies such as: school glue, construction paper, and markers to decorate.
The hand turkey is a great craft because it is easy to make. You just simply place your hand on the construction paper, use a marker to trace your hand print, and cut the outline out. Its that simple. If you're looking for a craft to keep your preschoolers buys this is the one. The hand turkey is also a great for little kids right around thanksgiving because it is simple and leaves little to no mess, so it leaves for easy clean up.
The only downside to this beloved craft is that it might be tricky for the younger kids. Younger kids who do not have the hand contraction to trace their hands may struggle and need adult assistance for this step. This can be a challenge for the child and make them upset. Another downside is that this craft isn't for anyone. It is mainly made for elementary kids, so if you're looking for a fun family craft that would include your pre-k and your teenager, odds are the teen would not be interested.
Bottom line is that this craft is great for elementary school kids because it is easy and kids love it. If you're looking for a fun craft to do with your students, this is the one.
Going about getting the materials for the craft is quite easy Simply go to your local grocery store, get the needed supplies (construction paper,school glue, markers, and scissors, if you don't have them) and head home to begin crafting.
I like the organization of your piece, but I dont think its necessary to explain what you need and the steps on how to make one. Sometimes I feel like you repeat your self talking about how its such a cool craft

ReplyDeleteI will be reviewing a video about Donald Trump. The video is when Mr. Trump said when he announced that he will officially be running for President of the United States of America. He announced this in Trump Tower located in New York City on June 16, 2015. He was giving a speech. Throughout his speech he was being cocky. He was also making America look bad when really we are doing fine. He also said obnoxious things about immigrants.He wants to make America great again. Which is a good thing. We all want America to be great. But the way he wants to do it is unethical. His cockyness and racism is not a good fit to be commander and chief. I personally think it is worth watching. Knowing what Trump is saying and what he plans to do should be something everyone is aware of. But supporting him should not happen.
